Overview

From 2001-2018, Daniel worked with MSD Capital, the family investment office of Michael Dell. While with MSD, Daniel played a key role in the development of the firm’s reputation in the public and private markets, and in the evolution of the firm’s investment strategies. Daniel has invested in numerous healthcare businesses, including insurance carriers, lab testing companies and healthcare services providers in acute and post-acute care environments, as well as pharmacy benefit managers, retail pharmacy networks and home health and hospice operators. He has referenceable relationships with existing and retired public company CEOs and CFOs across multiple industries. Prior to MSD, Daniel worked with Salomon Smith Barney, Bankers Trust (Deutsche Bank), Merrill Lynch and Rinfret & Co. (merchant banking boutique). In the summer of 2018, he moved from New York to Madrid with his family, and is investing his personal capital in private companies, in the form of loans and equity ownership.
